Part Blue Stylin'

Hey peeps. A while back I did a styling gig for a test shoot with the amazingly talented Alan from Part Blue Photography. How lucky and privileged I feel to have been able to work with such a great team! Alan's work is truly awesome and super aesthetically pleasing, to say the very least. I cannot believe he's only a newbie to the fashion industry. This shit needs to get published, already! Please do yourself a favour and check out the Part Blue goodness. :)

On another note, the threads used in this shoot are provided by the lovely and talented Tash Butler from Bruug and Jonté, from her label of the same name. Both very different in style, but exceptionally directional and well made. Hopefully this provides you all with a little taste of some of the talent that is available in teeny, tiny Perth. Have yourself a look at the results and enjoy!

Oh my. This label reigning from wee little ol' Perth is "out of this world" for lack of a better term. It's hard to believe it is only two years young as their presence on social media has blown up in a very short amount of time.

Take a look at the Dyspnea designs and it's really not hard to see why. Whimsical embellishments, provocative sheers, fluffy, marshmallowy yumminess and intricate detailing... good lord. Despite this, all the pieces manage to maintain some kind of femininity. Every single garment is somehow unexpected and exciting.

Enough ranting, do yourself a favour and check out their tumblr, Instagram and Facebook. Psychedelic heaven.

I was lucky enough to shoot some of these pieces with the amazing Caleb Davenport and having seen the garments in person, it's safe to say these young designers have incredible creative flair and are insanely talented. Enjoy.

Outfit post.

This dress is uber comfortable, loving these boxy shapes... so versatile! Missguided has some awesome finds, staple or otherwise. Highly recommended for those who enjoy an overflowing wardrobe or are budget conscious.

I had to be sure to photograph this cuff  (I have worn it to death). As I've stated before, I love piling on the rocks, gems and stones. Etsy has some amazing one-off pieces and unknown designers will often custom make for you, with no two pieces being the same. I'm so in love with the store I purchased this from, BreakAstone. Her range of crystals and gemstones is gypsy heaven!  Check them out and enjoy your amazing, unique piece that will arrive beautifully wrapped :)

Lost Souls Boutique

This week I paid a visit to the lovely Lost Souls Boutique located in Times Square Claremont. I adore this store and the beautiful WA designs it stocks. Well worth a visit. These Villamar gowns are just divine and SO affordable!  I always die over Zhivago's shape, structure and sexy chic. Do yourself a favour and pay this stunning store a visit.
