Zachary plus Style in the City

I recently discovered Melbourne based designer, Zachary via Instagram and it's safe to say I am in la-la-looove. This top and skirt ensemble comes in a zillion different colours and is super versatile as a set or separates. Plus they are wonderfully affordable.. hazzahh!

Like most females on planet earth, I am a HUGE Sex and the City fan and constantly die at the thought of the wonderful array of costumes featured in the series/films.

Style in the City was an event held in Enex 100 and the costume designer Patricia Field came to offer her insights into the industry and talk about her SATC costume choices. It's safe to say I love her. She is quintessential New York awesomeness. Oh, and I got to touch her. If it weren't gross I'd never wash my hands again...

Here's a few photos of the lovely Zachary pieces and the costume display still being held at Enex... enjoy!

2 for the price of 1

I told you I was getting my shiz together. Outfit post two.

This is a severely delayed post, but one that I had to do because this dress is one of my all-time favourite pieces. I rarely re-wear things because I have a horrendously overflowing wardrobe (and get bored very easily) but I have tried to re-style this dress a zillion times and refuse to part ways with it. I purchased from the amazingly helpful and lovely ladies at Emporia in Subiaco. Check out their Facebook :)

Bec and Bridge seem to have a habit of designing clothes that have that effect.. well on me, anyway. Every new collection of theirs makes me sad I'm not a billionaire and can't buy the whole lot. A girl can dream...

Dress: Bec and Bridge from the beautiful Emporia boutique
Shoes: Big W ( I KNOW, RIGHT?!)
Earrings: Swarovski

Lack of internet has meant I've been completely silent on the posting lately but the title of this post is correct. I am indeed alive.

Ya'll can expect a series of catch-up posts as I'm in the process of getting my shit together. Hoooooray!

Before the rest of the outfit post I want to make special mention of the bling I'm sporting. I'm a HUGE fan of purchasing pretty much all my pieces from unknown designers on Etsy. I find the designers to be incredibly helpful, well priced and all pieces are unique. The big lilac stone I'm wearing is a newbie from the wonderful Alice at AMWGallery.  I haven't taken it off since I received it oh-so beautifully packaged in the mail! Check out her pieces here :)

Dress: Bardot
Shoes: Asos
Earrings: Wildfox (old)
